How to Fix the Banking Error Code 102?

QuickBooks is prone to errors. Banking Error 102 is one of them.

The banking error 102 appears when:

Bank’s website is facing some technical glitch. 

Bank’s website is under maintenance.

Issues in transferring data from the bank’s website. 


How to fix Error 102?


  1. Download the updates for the QuickBooks from the top right corner of the file menu and reach the update now tab in the QuickBooks.

You need to manually update some updates from the banking section of the QuickBooks file menu. 

You also have to clear unwanted accounts and then choose to update now.

Restart your system. 

2.               Check if the account details are accurate.

Go to the file menu<<Click on Banking.

Click on Add account<< find bank name from the list. 

Click continue<< select Connect securely.

Go to add+New<< click on Connect.

Connect Review tab for checking the downloaded transactions. 

3.               If there are some issues at the bank’s end you have to wait for the bank for their actions to fix this issue.
