  • Reach all programs tab and choose QuickBooks database server manager and click on Scan folders. 
  • Click on the Add folder and try to open the file again after signing in to the company file. 

 

Solution 4: Opening the company file locally. 

  • Open the folder with the company file having .QBW extensions, and proceed to copy the file and paste it on desktop. 
  • Keep hold of the Ctrl key unless you see no company open window. 
  • Open the company file which you copied on desktop and see if the error still occurs.
