QuickBooks Banking Error 9999 is a script error which may also block your internet connection with the bank and QuickBooks online.
Symptoms of Error 9999:
- You may not get connected to the
bank.
- The process might become slow.
- You will receive an error dialog
box.
Causes of error 9999:
- Slow speed of the internet.
- Windows firewall or antivirus mat
block bank’s website.
- Cache files or cookies can also cause
this error.
How to fix Error 9999?
Solution 1:
- Click on the report issue appearing
with the error message.
- Enter your name and email address in
the banking transaction screen.
- Wait for 10 business days to get a
response from the tech team.
Solution 2:
- Cancel the current QuickBooks
online account and go to the tab of Edit.
- Click ‘Disconnect this account on
save’.
- From the dashboard, renew the
link.
- Link QB online account after going to
the bank account.
- Enter username and password to access
the account.
Solution 3:
- Go to Internet Explorer and choose the
Favorites tab.
- Go to the tab -History.
- Open this tab and select the sites
which you need to delete and clear search history.
Solution 4:
- In the search bar of the start menu,
type command.
- Press and hold CTRL+Shift.
- In the black dialog box, type
‘Regedit’.
- Select Error 9999 and export from the
file menu.
- Save the backup and make sure to type .reg extension at the end of the name of the file.
